WS 2012/2013
The branch fork, which builds the framework of “louise” makes every single lamp individual and raises nature to a contributing designer.
For the lampshade i worked with the old craftsmanship of glassblowing.
The hot glass is directly blown into the branch fork and the liquid glass sculpts the
amorphous and accidental, perfectly fitting lampshade around the branches.
The textile cable, which holds the illuminant by the help of a knot into the lampshade tops “louise” off and creates the impression that the glass is getting sucked into the branch fork.
